  • American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists: AACE is a professional medical organization devoted to the enhancement of the practice of clinical endocrinology (including diabetes and thyroid diseases).
  • American Board of Obstertics & Gynecology: ABOG is an independent, non-profit organization that certifies obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States.
  • American College of Nurse-Midwives: ACNM provides research, accredits midwifery education programs, administers and promotes continuing education programs, establishes clinical practice standards, creates liaisons with state and federal agencies and members of Congress.
  • American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists: ACOG is a membership organization dedicated to the advancement of women's health through education, practice, research and advocacy.
  • American Heart Association: a national voluntary health agency whose mission is to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
  • National Eating Disorder Association: NEDA’s Helpline offers a safe place to ask questions, find support and receive free information and referrals. Live Helpline hours are available Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm Pacific time.
  • American Nurses Association: ANA is a full-service professional organization representing the nation's 2.7 million Registered Nurses through its 54 constituent state associations. ANA advances the nursing profession by fostering high standards of nursing practice, promoting the economic and general welfare of nurses in the workplace, projecting a positive and realistic view of nursing, and by lobbying the Congress and regulatory agencies on health care issues affecting nurses and the public.
  • American Society for Reproductive Medicine: ASRM is an organization devoted to advancing knowledge and expertise in infertility, reproductive medicine and biology.
  • Association for Pre- & Perinatal Psychology and Health: APPPAH is a forum for individuals from diverse backgrounds and disciplines interested in psychological dimensions of prenatal and perinatal experiences. Typically, this includes childbirth educators, birth assistants, doulas, midwives, obstetricians, nurses, social workers, perinatologists, pediatricians, psychologists, counselors, researchers, and teachers at all levels. One does not have to be a professional, however: all who share these interests are welcome to join.
  • Association of Labor Assistants & Childbirth Educators: ALACE supports women's choices in childbirth by offering training and referrals. ALACE believes knowledgeable childbirth educators and labor assistants/birth doulas can do a great deal to provide pregnant women with information and practical alternatives so that they may give birth with confidenSce, strength and joy.
  • Doulas of North America: DONA is an international association of doulas who are trained to provide the highest quality emotional, physical and educational support to women and their families during childbirth and postpartum.
  • Gynecologic Surgery Society: The Gynecologic Surgery Society is a professional medical association emphasizing minimally invasive surgery in obstetrics and gynecology
  • National Women's Health Network: The National Women's Health Network improves the health of all women by developing and promoting a critical analysis of health issues in order to affect policy and support consumer decision-making.
  • Organization of Teratology Information Services: Provides information exposures, that may contribute to potential birth defects.
  • Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology: SART promotes and advances the standards for the practice of assisted reproductive technology to the benefit of patients, members and society at large. Access and contact information for infertility clinics.
  • Society for Fetal Urology: The Society for Fetal Urology is a non-profit society whose main purpose is to promote fetal and prenatal urology, appropriate practice, and education as well as exchanges between practitioners involved in the treatment of hydronephrosis.
  • Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology: SART promotes and advances the standards for the practice of assisted reproductive technology to the benefit of our patients, members and society at large. Their website also offers ways for clients to locate and contact infertility clinics.
  • Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine: SMFM's primary objectives are to promote and expand education in Maternal-Fetal medicine and to encourage the exchange of new ideas and research concerning the most recent approaches and treatments for obstetrical problems.
  • Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology: The mission of the Society is to promote excellence in research and practice of obstetric anesthesiology and perinatology.
